Across twelve tracks, produced by Jasper Zuidervaart, Jeangu reflects on what it means to be young, to feel awkward and to feel alone. Each of these themes is approached from a different perspective: the relationship with himself, with others, and with the world around him.

The artwork was designed by Stefan van den Heuvel with photography by Roeltje van de Sande Bakhuyzen. ‘Young, Awkward & Lonely’ combines Jeangu’s soulful voice with pop, folk, and indie influences and is a personal journey as well as a collective experience.
